In this two-day course, you will learn how to leverage the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) when undertaking an Agile transformation. Through engaging lectures, real-world examples, and insights from SAFe experts, you’ll also gain an understanding of the underlying principles of Lean thinking and product development flow.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Use Lean, Agile, and product development flow principles to improve productivity, employee engagement, time to market, and quality
• Understand the skills necessary for an enterprise transformation based on the information and examples presented, and additional recommended readings and resources
• Motivate your development teams to build their best software quickly and continuously using key Scrum/XP processes using proven Agile leadership skills

DAY 1 

Introduction to the Scaled Agile Framework
Overview of Lean Software Development and Product Development Flow
Application of Agile Development in the enterprise context

DAY 2 

Identification, implementation, and execution of Agile Release Trains
Agile Architecture principles, patterns, and roles
Scaling Agile-savvy leaders

Upon course completion, you will be eligible to take the test for the SAFe Agilist (SA) certification. In addition, you will receive 14 professional development units (PDUs), which the Project Management Institute (PMI) uses to measure your professional development.
